Devin Stephenson

Minister Devin Stephenson was born on October 6, 1982, to Warren and Gretchen Stephenson. He lived most of his life in Alexandria, Virginia. He attended public school in Alexandria and graduated in 2000 from Thomas A. Edison High School.

Minister Stephenson joined the military at the age of 17, and served in the Armed Forces for six years. During his service, he received numerous awards, medals, and letters of recommendation from his superior officers. He graduated from The Armed Forces School of Music, and the most important thing that happened while he was in the military is that he found Jesus Christ.

Minister Stephenson was later called, by the Lord, to preach and teach the Gospel, as well as serve Him in the music ministry. Minister Stephenson was licensed to preach the Gospel on October 28, 2006, by Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Waukegan in Waukegan, Illinois, under the leadership of Pastor Arthur Gass. While serving at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Waukegan, he served on the ministerial staff where he was one of six ministers in charge of the Evening Worship Services. He was also active in the Music Ministry and was assigned to Mt. Zion's sister church as the lead musician.

Minister Stephenson has also helped to launch two non-profit organizations, Tribe of Judah in Hawaii and Servants of Christ in Washington, DC. Both organizations are dedicated to the service of our Lord and Savior.

Currently, Minister Stephenson is serving as an Associate Minister and Music Ministry Director at the Little Rock Baptist Church in Clinton, Maryland. He is also the Youth Bible Study teacher and President of the Men's Ministry.

Minister Stephenson is married to the former Lois Jackson. They have three children: two sons Marshawn and Malcolm, and a daughter Betty.

Minister Stephenson believes there is much more God has planned for him, and he is just excited to do the Will of the Most High. His favorite scripture is Mark 12:28-34 "...And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment..."
